Scott Merryman of Winchester, VA is a graduate of James Wood High School and drives the 24cw Late Model at the Winchester Speedway.

The number 24 has always been a number associated with Scott through the years and when he started racing he added the cw. The cw is for his daughters, Candace and Whitney.

Scott started his racing career by racing go-karts in 1997. Racing go-karts took him to tracks from Shippensburg, PA to Richmond, VA any given weekend. The 24cw go-kart won many races and always placed high. He then moved into Purestock in 2000.

During that year, Team24cw won a race and Rookie of the Year. In 2002, they moved up to and presently run semi-late model. The car has moved from white and blue to the now white and black.

CREW:
Erik Fisher has been with the team since the very beginning.  Erik has always put his heart into the team and has grown with the team in many ways.  He now has the support of a very special lady, Ashley. 

John Godby, Crew Chief, has brought a wealth of knowledge and hard work to the team as well.  John has a very supportive wife and kids at home that come to the track as often as possible.
